Trust, flexibility, and connection — here’s what some of our amazing students have to say about what makes our staff different.

Looking for a change?

Map Academy’s faculty and staff are open-minded, forward-thinking, collaborative lifelong learners who thrive in a fast-paced, iterative atmosphere.

At Map, our team is more than just a group of employees. Our students trust us to do things differently than what has failed them in the past — every day, we work to ensure that our relationships with them reflect that trust.

We’re always on the lookout for educators interested in working as facilitators of student learning in our innovative alternative high school setting, both in their core content area and more generally. Our academic model is interdisciplinary, flexible, and collaborative, and that’s exactly what we look for in our teachers.

Hear From Our Team

Here, I am a part of a team of adults who care about each and every student just as much as I do.

The sense of belonging that students have here — it’s hard not to notice.

Schools need to adapt in order to meet students where they are, and that is the focus of Map.

The wraparound support is very necessary … Obviously, education is very important, but mental health and physical health are as well. School, at times, isn’t the first priority on their mind. You just never know the situation, and some of them have been through a lot.
