Consistent with guidance from the Commissioner, the Governor, and medical and public health experts, mask wearing while inside school will be mandatory for all students and staff, regardless of vaccination status.  This mandate will remain in effect until at least October 1, 2021 and will no longer be mandated once we can attest that 80% of our students and staff are fully vaccinated. 

In an effort to increase student vaccination rates and achieve this 80% threshold, Map Academy is offering all students who provide proof of vaccination by Friday, October 1, 2021 a $100 Amazon gift card. Proof of vaccination must be a completed, official CDC Vaccination card shown in person to Nurse Heather. Photos or copies of cards will not be accepted as proof of vaccination for the incentive. Please note that, the above masking information supersedes the information emailed to students and families on August, 18, 2021.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

• We have arranged for an onsite vaccination clinic  weekly at Map Academy on Thursdays from 10:30 am – noon beginning on 8/26. Students are encouraged to pre-register via the link here.

COVID-19 Testing

• Map Academy has been approved to continue offering a range of COVID testing options onsite. We will continue to have rapid BINAX-Now tests available for symptomatic students and staff and those who have been close contacts. We will also continue with optional (but highly encouraged) weekly pooled COVID safety testing as we did last school year. 
• Please provide consent to participate in these testing programs here. Note that all students or their parent/guardian must complete this updated consent form for the new school year.
