Liza Veto

Liza Veto is a consultant who supports schools and districts to implement their visions in their daily work, converting dedication and commitment into real progress for students and families. Formerly, she was the Program Officer for Mass IDEAS (Innovating Design in Education for All Students) an incubator of high-quality, innovative public schools designed to transform learning for students across Massachusetts. Liza is a strategic educational leader with deep experience and understanding of the policy landscape, skills honed in her previous roles as the Central Turnaround and Transformation Director for Boston Public Schools and a Director at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and a Public Health Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Liza received a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the Broad Residency in Urban Education and also holds a Masters in Social Work.
