Thank You–Staff Referral
Thank you for referring a potential staff member. Please keep in mind you can refer more than one person if you have a network of awesome, mission-aligned people. Below is some important information on our referral program.
We are looking for professionals who are:
- Outside-the-box, entrepreneurial thinkers drawn to work in an innovative, flexible environment
- Change-agents compelled to disrupt the educational status quo to help all students thrive
- Educators passionate about working with youth who have been failed by traditional systems
Referrals might be:
- Someone mission-aligned and actively looking for employment opportunities, or
- Someone mission-aligned, but not actively looking for new employment opportunities.
To receive the referral bonus:
- The referred employee be hired and must have been successfully employed at Map Academy for at least 90 days before bonuses are paid out.
- You must complete the online referral form prior to the candidate applying for a full-time position at Map Academy.
You are not eligible for a referral bonus if:
- You refer a candidate hired for a part-time or per diem position.
- You submit the candidate’s name after he/she has already applied to Map Academy.
Referral Payment:
- The only way to be eligible for a referral is to follow the referral process and submit your referral via the referral form.
- Referrals for full-time Administrators, Special Education, Science or Math teachers: $2,500 per hire
- Referrals for all other full-time hires: $1,000 per hire
- Referral bonuses are paid out twice yearly–at the end of May and at the end of November.
