Requirements:
- At least 7 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Proven track record as an instructional leader, including mentoring, new teacher induction, peer-coaching, curriculum alignment, assessment development, data-driven instruction, cross-curricular knowledge, professional development planning and implementation, etc.
- Master’s degree or higher, deep knowledge of content area and significant curriculum design experience.
- Experience with competency-based instruction and assessment strongly preferred.
- Appropriate MA license in at least one high school content area; MA Professional Licensure strongly preferred.
- Sense of humor and relentless optimism to bring joy to challenging work.
- Passion and experience cultivating success in students who have disengaged from or dropped out of other educational environments.
- An innovative spirit, growth mindset and the confidence to embrace challenge of doing high school differently.
- An open mind that embraces learning and collaboration and the willingness to absorb feedback in order to continually improve.
