Map Academy begins search for visionary teammates as we prepare to launch in Fall 2018
Are you a visionary educational innovator who is passionate about doing high school differently so that all students can thrive?
Map Academy Charter School is approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and is founded on a belief that every student can succeed, but that for some students, the path toward success does not fit the model of traditional high schools. We believe that there is no one size fits all educational model, or one size fits all timeline toward a high school diploma. Map Academy will serve students in the greater Plymouth area who have completed 8th grade through age 24 and are disengaged from and/or have dropped out of school.
Our mission is to help youth find their way with individualized roadmaps designed to promote success in students for whom traditional school has not worked. Student-centered academics, a highly supportive culture, and career development opportunities will equip students with the knowledge, mindsets, and skills to meet the high standards necessary for postsecondary education and meaningful employment.

We are currently seeking experienced, passionate educators to be part of our founding team on a volunteer basis with potential for stipended fellowship opportunities during our planning year and a range of full time positions formally beginning as we get closer to launch.
